OMG gok wan is the collest person ever. If you dont agree i think you should turn around, there shall be no gok wan haters on this blog EVER. OK so the book i have chosen is Gok Wan's autobiography "Through thick and thin" its an amazing book. Its so sosos worth it, he wrote it and you really feel liek you know him and what hes been through once you have read it. It is called through thick and thin because he was obese then annorexic which is sever sad times. because he is PERFECT but we shall not go into that.

Reasons why i lvoe Gok Wan:

• He helps so many people
• Hes been through so much to be where he is
• Hes living the dream
• Hes living my dream
• He is amazing at fashion
• He is my idol
• He is fricking awesome and jsut looks so cool
• He has funny names for everything including himself, my faves are "auntie Gok", "Fairy gok mother", "Bangers"
• He is genuine
• He writes books which are fabdidddleytastic.  (that made my spell checker go crazy not that i use it anyway as you can tell... i only found i had one like yesterday  meh who needs one anyway you guys understand me right?) RIGHT?
• He has his own glasses range
• He helps kids
• He has cool tv shows
• He designes clothes
• He can draw

Ok the glasses thing brings me to my next point. GOK WAN HAS HIS OWN GLASSES RANGE AT SPECSAVERS!!!!!!!!! did you know that? if so why did you not tell me? it is like my life ambition to meet gok wan (and hug him of course) and wearing his glasses would bring me one crucial step closer. No i am not a stalker...... as such. But yh i saw them and went crazy 9 more so than usual) they are amazing i want them but they cost £100 so i dont see that happening any time soon. Anyhoo but they show his typical style like the big frames and funky styles and ahhh focus pixie!

 No but if you go on the specsavers website you can try them on! oh my days total cool-german- i know girl of many talents. As you can see right. Alright i know i look ridiculous but in my defence this is a very old photo and i look ridiculous wearing and doing most things so...... but try it es ist total cool. again some more german for you there woop. 

OK the book
Seriously i learnt so much from reading this like he was kicked out of school and that he originally wanted to be an actor. He turned to working at a beauty counter with no experience as a last result and worked form there. He managed to blag his way to the top doing portfolios and telling all sorts of fibs lol. He is known for his sensitvity and that really shines through. It gives even more depth to his personality if you get me? you learn how and why he ened up where he is with the attitude that he is. It is amazing.

The o'natural beauty look

This o'natural look was featured in the Greena constantine show. It was inspired by winter, you know what im talking about-red faces, flushed, excited. Its supposed to be natural. Later on in the post i will show you how to get this look. By show i mean tell. The products used are mac and i got the information from the site below.Photography by : Jenna Marie Wakani

I think it gives a pure appearance to the face, delciate beauty.
Eyes
Although this model is wearing quite a reddy eyeshadow do not be worried about "not being able to pull it off" red eye shadow is extremley hard. Rather than going for a solid red go for a close alternative like rust, dark orange or a neutral pastel. It will give the same effect xxx This particular model is wearing:

• M.A.C eye shadow in "coral"
• M.A.C eye shadow in "orange"
• M.A.C eye shadow "sushi flower"
• M.A.C mineralize skin.

Lashes are left bare to again give it that soft, "fleshy", natural look.

Hair
The hair has been tyed into a low pigtail to give a "bob" appearance from the front. It is tucked under and then a scarf has been wrapped around to make it look like the models are wearing lots of layers. Really capturing the winter essence of bundling up and getting cosy.

Nails

• Filed into a soft almond shape
• Black nail varnish
• Top coat of see-through nail varnish

The black has been blended so that it fades up the nail. It starts as a dark black at the cuticles and then turns to see-through/soft white at the tip of the nail. This was intended to give the nail " a flowy look" to match the outfits.

Ok so a pretty boring post just to ease myself back into the regime. Some pictures i took of my not too willing hamster. Yes hes named Chandler after Chandler from friends. If you have seen it you will see the resemblence. or that might just be me.. i dont know anyway. Yh some pictures and there should be mroe posts coming along shortly. Thanks for asking yes i am infact eating a cheese and ham toastie at this moment in time.

A photoshop makeover i did

The original (top left) was the model i started with, i then did loads of stuff to get <<<< the avatar effect (took me lke 2 hours) lke changng the skn colours, eyes, makng a zebra patter, addng leather texture to the skn etc... ill try and fnd the tutoral i used for you later, iim writing this whilst watching glee so..... yh x

The writing is in english and i think its in japanese on the other side. The contempary design is fetching and the fact thats its going to do alot of good adds to its appeal. That's right, you heard correct. Emma Watson the model, the designer, the actress is the new face of french beauty brand lancome. Who can blame then for wanting her to model with her flawless, glowing skin and unique style sense, shes perfect for the job. She lead fans on with little clues leading up to her big news like "it begins with l and ends with e" but she announced on twitter that the news is true and she is the new face of lancome. I'm excited,Don't get me wrong I'm super jealous but shes the right girl for the job. Emma keeps growing and growing, she started off as our fave little character in harry potter and now shes a bit of everything. This 6 figure deal recently signed is just another of the amazing things Emma has done. She designs clothes and models for people tree, an ethical fashion brand.  As you can see Emma (left) is grinning from ear to ear. I can't wait to see some pictures. John Galliano Fahion suicide

John Galliano has been suspended from Christian Dior after he was caught on camera being extremley racist and ranting. He was filmed by people next to him in a cafe/resteraunt in paris saying things like" People like you would be dead", "I love Hitler", and "Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f****ng gassed.”  This anti-Sematic speech means he has been expelled form his label and his career has been terminated atleast for now. He may have been drunk but these were clearly thoughts he has had before. John Galliano (left) was/is a famous fashion designer creating beatiful and extravagent fashion pieces. He looks very gaunt in the photo. However it looks lie he wont go down without a fight as he has already filed a defamation suit against the people that acused and filmed him. Versace bag

 The image (left) is the new versace bag. I love the contrasting colour and bold red leather detailing on the front. It very retro/vintage/80's and you can see the influence the era has had on the bag. Versace i didn't know about till recently ( i know I'm sorry) but its a designer bag range. This pretty little number comes in at £1795 dollars , i know right omg. But it is cute . It features a wide fit, comfy handle with a unique red design printed onto it. The front as you can see has a contrasting pattern sown onto it with leather. It looks like it would be a spacious and handy bag to have because im pretty sure  it holds more than it looks liek it does if you get me. It fastens with one of those thingy's sorry for the lack of technical knowledge here. Its actual name is Versace Patent Flap Shoulder Bag . I liek thie bag because its functional and fashionable , what more could you want? except for it too be £1700 pounds cheaper but thats life i guess. Nick as Dobby

Nick <<< is one off the coolest people you will ever meet. I promsied him i'd give him a shout out on my blog so i used this picture of him :) coz its kinda fashion related. He is dressed up as dobby from harry potter(if you didn't know that you should go cry in a corner). Yes he normally has hair its hidden under his lil bald cap thingy and yes he wore this in public to go to the cinema. Um so yh I'm not sure what else to write except the costume is fricking awesome and that you should all be inspired by nick here and next time you go see a film dress up. Be different. Do it.

Charlotte free pink hair

I just very recently found out about this model. She has bright pink hair which i love, it looks really good(but then again shes a supermodel what wouldn't) and it stands out. She was scouted whilst waking through an arcade and was chosen to open one of the topshop catwalk shows. Picked by Dame Vivienne Westwood.
